Been a while since I’ve made an entry, I guess because a lot has happened. A crew helped me bring in this beautiful cupboard for our supplies. This cupboard was going to be in the printshop people tried to set up in our first year here, it even still had labels on the drawers in unmistakable handwriting. 

Terran found a beautiful drafting table for free and gifted it to the shop. 

I spent a bunch of time learning how to prep images for printing in photoshop. 

It turned out I put together the washout booth wrong the first time, but I got it together and it’s all setup with the pressure washer and sink beside it. 

The darkroom is all set up too with a framed quote from Beetlejuice ‘my whole life is a dark room’. 

Today I exposed our first screen. The exposure part seemed to work great but I need to get handier with the pressure washer because I blasted out some details from the design. I prepped two new screens of different mesh counts to try again tomorrow. 

Only about a week and change until we open membership applications!
